We had the absolute best Denny's experience at this Denny's. As everyone knows, Denny's can be hit or miss.. This location is a hit. I believe the chef that cooked for us was named Bob? He did an outstanding job, we had breakfast and absolutely every item was hot and flawless. Cooked to perfection. We were the only people in the restaurant at that hour, so we had undivided attention and it was provided. Our server was attentive and came right on time.. I believe her name was Goldie. We will definitely return to the Oakland City Denny's if their food is that good everytime.
The restaurant was very clean. The food was good. The only problem was that once we got seated it took 5-10 minutes for the server come back and get our drink order. The food was served fairly quickly. Refills took forever to get. All of the waitresses were in the kitchen talking very loudy.
Great service and good food. In a small town a chain can go downhill because of little competition. Thankfully that hasn't happened here.
